Lift Panic
Lift Panic was conceived by my brother Dustin and me as a fast-paced, dexterity-testing elevator game. We realized afterwords that the gameplay is similar to Root Beer Tapper. The game sets itself apart, however, by the bonus multiplier. Normally passengers appear on floors 2-5 and want to go to the ground floor. Occasionally a VIP will appear on the ground floor asking to go to a specific floor to break the monotony of always carrying passengers to the bottom, a floor you can’t easily miss. Each VIP adds to your multiplier, but missing one or delivering them to the wrong floor makes you lose it all. Normal passengers have an attitude modifier that gives more or less points based on their moods. There are also bonuses given for making 3-of-a-kind style deliveries with each person being the same type.
