digiot is dead, long live digiot

So now digiot has a new headmaster, hopefully he’ll treat her better than I did. All though I’m 70% certain he is the only one who will read this.

Today I got my logitech io pen, unfortunately it doesn’t work… hopefully I can get it replaced soon but it is a pretty cool piece of tech. Other than that I’m proud to say I submitted my first application to danger under the development program for possible deployment in different carriers’ catalog. If it gets released I get a chunk of change for each purchase made, which I like, beyond that though, I enjoyed working on the app. I’ll let you know if it gets accepted in the near future.

Well I’m now to a point of hating school. I’m not too sure what to do about it either. I’m a big advocate of doing whatever makes you happy, so staying here and being unhappy is breaking some kind of personal rule. I’ve weighed out many real (and unreal) options, including; moving to NY going to school at RPI while working for a change of scenery, moving to FL switching programs to what Dusty does, moving home to work or do something, moving far away with nothing and starting over (unreal…), moving to Japan and becoming a feudal lord (pretty much unreal), moving off the coast of England to that one sovereign nation. Pretty much though I have few options other than sticking it out here while failing classes that are outside of my scope because I’m unwilling to put in the time they require. For instance I never read my IAH required readings, I only work on classical mechanics homework the day before it’s due (I usually never get any problems correct, only partial credit), I do the same for my physics lab, I don’t go to modern physics unless there’s a quiz or I feel particularly compelled to do so (not often), and as for math I recently got a 44/100 on the first exam (after the curve it is closer to 70/100 though). So all in all I’m not doing well and the fact that I’m not doing well leads me to not work hard and that leads me to not do well inturn. I’m not sure what to do…
